Integration guide
Webflow
Write into a Webflow CMS collection with a site API token.
Check you have a blog collection
In Webflow, open the site with your blog and confirm the CMS has a collection for blog posts.
Create a site API token
Open the site settings, then Apps and integrations, then API access. Click Generate API token, name it Springso, and give it CMS read and write access.
Copy the token
Copy it immediately. Webflow does not show it again.
Copy the Collection ID
Open your blog collection's settings and copy the Collection ID.
Note your field slugs
Write down the field slugs for the title, the rich text content, the excerpt and the image if you have one. Common defaults are title, content and excerpt, but yours may differ.
Paste everything into Springso
In Springso, open Settings, Integrations, Webflow. Paste the token, the Collection ID, your live blog address and the field slugs, then click Connect.
Worth knowing
- The collection should already be connected to a live collection page template.
- If Webflow blocks publishing a single item, publish the whole site once and try again.
