Integration guide
Framer
Write into your Framer CMS with a project API key.
Open your project settings
In Framer, open the project with your blog and open Site settings, then General.
Create an API key
Scroll to API Keys, click Add, name the key Springso, and copy it right away. Framer only shows it once.
Copy your project URL
Copy the address from your browser while the project is open. It looks like https://framer.com/projects/your-project.
Paste both into Springso
In Springso, open Settings, Integrations, Framer, paste the project URL and the API key, and click Continue. Springso loads your CMS collections.
Choose your blog collection
Pick the CMS collection posts should land in, or let Springso create a Springso Blog collection for you, then click Connect.
- Only collections you created in Framer can be written to.
- The title needs a plain text field and the content needs a rich text field.
Connect your blog pages in Framer
Bind a collection list on your blog page to the collection, render the content field on the detail page, and publish your site once.
Worth knowing
- Framer only shows new items on the live site once the site is published. Turn on automatic publishing in Springso, or publish in Framer yourself.
